Recently we announced how the Facilitated Online Learning program has been relaunched. The advertised workshops were run hosting some very enthusiastic delegates. Here are some observations regarding the program:
- The delegates were fully committed to reviewing the prerequisite materials. This is essential as they each came to the practical workshops as prepared as they could be.
- They engaged fully with the workshops. Every individual took an active role, taking it in turns to lead on each of challenges which were set.
- They helped one another. Collaboration is key and allowed them to get the most out of the workshop sessions achieve the greater goal.
Perhaps because of this they all learnt in a safe environment and feedback suggests they had fun doing so! They have already been recommending the program to colleagues.
Following this success the dates have been set for the next FOL program:
If you’d be interested in joining us here are a few things to consider:
- The program is intended for new users who are happy to use ‘out of the box’ settings
- Customisation and System Manager tasks (e.g., Template Design, User Account Management, Model Design) are NOT covered on this program.
- The prerequisite materials are compulsory and active participation on the workshops is required. Please schedule the time necessary to fulfil these requirements before committing to the program.
- Workshop sessions take place on a training cloud, accessed via screen share with a facilitator. This mean no installation, licences or data are required for the workshops themselves.
- Licences, cloud instance and data are not provided for use outside the workshops (although your own resources can obviously be used, subject to your own internal policies).
- Enrolment into the program does involve a few steps so sign up will close on 21st
- Currently this program is made available for the UK. This is reflected in the course timing and materials.
